Megeve has an enormous ski area, encompassing 445 km, more than 220 pistes and 100 lifts. The classic resort is at a lower altitude than many other major French alternatives, with its highest point at 2525 m on Mont-Joly. From Megeve you will be able to purchase the affordable Evasion Mont Blanc lift pass, which costs a lot less than most ski resorts of a comparable or smaller size.
