Property Description
Chalet Altevue 1 is a new build property located in the centre of the sought–after village of Essert Romand. The chalet is situated in a quiet and pretty location and features one of the most magnificent views of the village.
The chalet is laid out over 3 floors, with the main entrance on the ground floor. On this level, there is a garage, a large hallway, a separate WC and a handy laundry and ski room.
Upstairs, the whole floor is entirely open-plan, with ample windows on the south facing façade, allowing the light to flood in. Next to the large kitchen, there are sliding doors for access to the garden. At the front of the house, a there is a large balcony which is accessed through the living.
The top floor houses a parent’s room, with ensuite bathroom and private balcony. Two double bedrooms, and a large bathroom complete this floor.
Essert Romand itself is a typical Savoyard village with lots of charm. The popular village “auberge” is quite literally a stone’s through away, which is open year-round, perfect for a bite to eat at lunch, a long and lazy evening meal, or an après ski pint or two. A pizza takeaway in the village is also ideal for those who don’t feel like cooking after a hard day on the slopes.
The chalet is under 5 minutes’ drive from the major supermarket in the valley. It is a similar distance to the centre of Morzine, with access to the full skiing domain of the Portes du Soleil, as well as many shops, bars and restaurants. A bus service also operates from Essert Romand to Morzine.
